PML-N Chief Nawaz Sharif said on Wednesday that terrorism in Pakistan started when the MQM entered politics.
Speaking to a private TV channel Sharif said the MQM is the basis of terrorism in Karachi and they would have to make it clear if they wanted clean politics or terrorism through their armed wings.
He said that when a true patriotic Hakeem Saeed was murdered we decided that either the killers of Hakeem Saeed should be handed over to us otherwise our paths are separated. He said we are against terrorism.
Sharif also criticised the government for not fulfilling its promises, adding that if the situation remained the same he would not be part of any future All Parties Conference.
The PML-N chief said those in the government were involved in corruption and how could such people run the country.
He said through media sources we found out that the president had contacted US over the fears that his government would be toppled by the army but we do not know the true facts behind these reports. He said that the biggest achievement of the president was that US conducted operation in Pakistan and he (president) wrote praise worth article in a US paper.
Nawaz Sharif said that the Abbottabad operation has encouraged the US and they are not concerned with our sovereignty.
He said that when he saw corruption flourishing in Pakistan he is deeply saddened and vowed to crack down on corruption. He said that PIA and Railway system has been completely destroyed. He said that he can no longer play the politics of conciliation it is time for the government to go. The fate of Pakistan would change when we get rid of this government.
