Karachi: State Bank of Pakistan and all its offices of Banking Services Corporation, including the Public Debt Offices, will remain closed on May 1, 2102 (Tuesday) being Public Holiday declared by the Government of Pakistan on the occasion of Labour Day.

Labour Day is an annual holiday to celebrate the economic and social achievements of workers. Pakistan’s first labour policy was devised in 1972, in which May 1 was declared an official holiday.
