Karachi: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) on Friday decided not to indulge itself in the ongoing case against Malik Riaz, a business tycoon, and Arsalan Iftikhar , son of Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry.

The decision was made in the party meeting, presided by President Asif Ali Zardari, at Bilawal House in Karachi.

The President directed party leaders to avoid talking and giving statements regarding the issue.

The meeting also discussed issues regarding political situation in the country and Budget 2012-13.
