Karachi: The All-Pakistan CNG Association (APCNGA) has announced to end strike in Sindh.

APCNGA Chairman Ghayas Abdullah Paracha said the strike would continue in other parts of the country.

Paracha said that the joint call of the APCNGA strike would become a shield against the Rs15 increase in CNG price. “This tax will be an extra burden on the public’s pocket so it’s equally lethal for the public and CNG station owners,” he added.

He said that the government has failed to overcome the electricity crisis by closing down CNG station. Now the concerned authorities should announce smooth supply of gas to CNG stations to facilitate the general public. He appealed to the public to support the strike of All Pakistan CNG Association, as it is fighting for reduction in gas price.

Secretary Petroleum & Natural Resources Muhammad Ejaz Chaudhry has vehemently denied the position taken by CNG Association for their ‘unjustified’ strike.
